Blake Spencer was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Blake graduated from the Episcopal School of Dallas in 2010 and earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 2014. Blake went on to the Texas A&M University School of Law and received his Juris doctorate in 2017.
While in law school, Blake clerked for the Honorable Ingrid Warren in Dallas Probate Court 2. During the Summer and Winter of his third year, Blake was a law clerk for Spencer, Johnson, & Harvell, PLLC Upon graduating from Texas A&M School of Law Blake was hired by Spencer, Johnson, & Harvell, PLLC as an Associate, joining the firm full time in August of 2017. Blake passed the bar and was licensed to practice law in Texas in November 2017.
As an associate of Spencer, Johnson, & Harvell, PLLC, Blake practices in litigation and appeals in all Texas Courts with a focus on all aspects of probate, trust, fiduciary and guardianship litigation and estate administration, including will contests, trust contests, and disputes, guardianship contests and disputes, fiduciary liability, as well as ancillary probate jurisdiction litigation, heirship and paternity-inheritance disputes, common-law spouse disputes, civil litigation, and appeals.
Blake is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
Blake enjoys spending his free time with his friends and family and traveling whenever he can.
